We all know that it's a dog-eat-dog world out there for rising artists, writers, promoters, producers, and everyone out there working behind the scenes, so I've dedicated this joint to uncovering the good, bad, happy, and sad points from every possible perspective. For some, you will figure out that the music industry is just not right for you, but for the die hard, all-or-nothing type, you will find your path... hopefully.
That's what this site is for... sharing different perspectives on the music industry so that we can get the scoop on all of the fact and fiction floating around out there in the streets. I have three basic goals in mind for this site.
- To help build buzz about up-and-coming talent in the music business.
- To uncover the harsh (and not so harsh) realities of the industry
- To develop my ear for great music so that I may become a producer myself
In the future, I hope to have built up a very solid base of contacts with major record companies, promoters, artists, writers, and execs from around the world in order to help music endure the bumpy patches in the road and to make it easier for newbies to get noticed.
